Disconnected Meters
This analysis rule indicates the measurement elements from the selected template that are not connected to a flow.
Any meter measurement that is not connected to a flow is reported to the Case log, which you can view in the Log tab of the Case Properties window. The output contains a list of meters in violation, and a description of the violation.
The following table lists a sample log output for this analysis.

Analysis Method
- Collect a list of all measurement elements of the current Case that are not connected to flows that were created from the selected templates.
- Write to the log section of the case. Report the Element name. Report the list of offending meters, ordered by name and cause of violation.
Configuration Using the Wizard
The configuration of Disconnected meters is a selection of the General Gross Error Analysis Rule. You open the window for configuring the test (shown in the following figure) from the General Gross Error Analysis Rule Wizard.
Open the Gross Error Configuration window as described in Configuring - General Gross Error Analysis Rule.
On the Liquid/Gas Meters tab, select Disconnected meters.
A Disconnected meters - Attributes window opens.
Select the Element templates that you want to check. The following table provides a description.
Attributes
Selections Description Template Name Select templates of measurements that you want to test. To select more than one template press and hold Shift key as you select the templates. Click OK to finish the configuration.
The text "CONFIGURED" displays next to the 'Disconnected meters' selection.
